Beating the Odds: Pizza and conversation with student advocates
Casey Family Programs invites you to join student advocates from across the country who were once both homeless and in foster care for a casual but insightful conversation over pizza. You will hear how these young adults have succeeded against the odds, and how the educational system could have better prepared them for the transition to college. Meet at the conference registration desk at 5pm sharp and we’ll walk together to nearby Pizzeria Uno Bar and Grill.
