See How New York City is Meeting the Varied Needs of Out-of-School Youth through Multiple Pathways to Graduation
Winner of the 2007 Broad Prize for Urban Education, New York City has been working to significantly increase the graduation rates and college readiness of overage and under-credited high school students. The Office of Multiple Pathways to Graduation developed a comprehensive strategic plan to guide their work based upon an unprecedented data examination of students' experience within the school system.
This field trip will allow participants to meet with JoEllen Lynch, CEO, Partnership Support Office, New York City Department of Education; the core partners in the reform efforts; and visit high schools and programs that serve overage, under-credited students.
