Topic: Adultification of Juvenile Offenders
Speakers: Liz Ryan with Campaign for Youth Justice and Dr. Robert Hahn with the Centers for Disease Control.
Dr. Hahn will discuss a report released by the CDC that recommends against policies that transfer juveniles into adult justice systems. In addition to discussing her state-based work on this issue, Liz will also provide an update to the federal juvenile justice reauthorization act.
